Kindle sales are increasing significantly. Compared to last year, kindle sales has tripled. in fact,there has been an announcement that the ebook and kindle will constitute 10% of the company sales. According to Citigroup’s analysis, the company will sell 17.5 million of the devices this year, generating about $2 billion in revenue.
I’ve personally tried it and adopted this application. It allowed me to read any book I was interested on, to highlight the points I wanted to record, to define the words I was confused about. In fact, I found it efficient, cheap and motivating. I had my books all the time with me!

I know that people swear by their Kindles and the books they can read but I guess in this respect I am old school. I love the tactile quality of a book with paper pages I can read and touch. Though I will give a major nod to the Kindle Fire as it’s browsing capabilities and apps are pretty cool. A friend let me use hers one night at the gym when we were working out. The screen is larger and I think it was made to compete with the new tablets out there.
I did learn that I am not the only person who feels this way (tactile preference). The millenials have increased readership of paper magazines. Odd for a demographic that is the most well connected of any age range.
